Do you feel like cheesing, guys? (South Park)

Tonight there is a new episode of South Park about Kenny, the Jonas Brothers and purity rings.

I, for one, am not optimistic, but I will probably watch this on the official website after it goes up. Is anybody else going to watch this show's horrible death spiral with me?

They'll probably try to salvage the show by replaying the first episode almost every night and talk about how super popular and hilarious people find it. Like when FOX has a new show and they try to force it down on throat for weeks until they realize people don't care and it gets cancelled again.

Except this show won't get cancelled because it would mean Comedy Central is out of shows.

South Park has had it's ups and downs but mostly ups. To call a potentially bad episode a sign of death is dumb. It doesn't work like a normal sitcom.

Mostly I just hated the most recent season and its reliance on repetitive gags, such as the HOW DO I TEACH THESE KIDS episode or the IM HIV POSITIVE episode.

I'm hopeful that this new season will be better.

a couple of bad episodes doesn't completely shut out the other decent ones that have come out recently

any sitcom is going to have a couple of flop episodes among the ones that make it a sitcom worth watching and I'm pretty sure this is especially true of one like South Park

I actually really liked the Vampire one that came out at the end of the last round

Yeah only the difference with south park is an episode has a turnaround time of like 5 days and other than paying Matt and Trey the show costs next to nothing to produce so there's really no way it would be canceled due to poor ratings considered its strong following and syndication.
