The roster for our regular events plus people we'll join in T4 is something like 50% tanks, the rest melee or ranged DPS, and a few healers.

I think I'm going to unsub again. I gave WAR another fair shake, and there just aren't ever scenarios. I spend most of my time when I log on wandering around, doing quests by myself. It's not the kind of fun I'd hoped for before release, even with the fixes.

Which sucks, because I really wanted it to be.

Well, what server are you on? If it's Badlands I'd be willing to give you a boot in T1/T2 when I'm able. I have a couple 40s and know most of the Order quests. Can't really help with IR too much as my highest is only 18 and I don't know many of the destro quests. Just shoot me a tell (just do /who happ and you'll probably find me :P )

This game requires you to be in a good guild.

My server (Phoenix Throne) actually has too much world RvR right now. Destro tried for the same damn BO about 12 times with 12 wipes last night....epic, but tiring. :P

Well, I can't promise you won't die since I don't have a high level healer yet, but I can promise anything that kills you won't be living very long.

All I can offer for the most part is insanely fast influence and PQ bags for gear and help with nearly any quest you're having an issue with. Scenarios are obviously dependant upon Destro queueing but I've been getting pretty regular queues in T3 on my RP and there's usually something going on in T4 for me to do on my WL/SM/SW if I'm looking for something to do if that means anything to you.

We had our T3 day today but it lasted only a little over an hour because destro is -terrible- on IR in T3. It's more or less people who rerolled and still haven't learned class mechanics that are even slightly different then their own class.

Really? I'm having a pretty easy time transitioning from WE to BG. Basically I just play like a marginally more useful WE without stealth.

Or maybe it's just because nobody believes in protecting the healers in T1.

Or because the T1 healers think they can just dive into the melee whenever they want.

The theme here is that I'm playing against terrible terrible people.

I hop on my 20 zealot, and it's like a twenty or thirty minute wait for scenario queues. It's just frustrating, is all. ORVR seems to happen sporadically, and when it does we never see any freaking players. We just roam around taking undefended objectives.

We really only exist for planned events, with a few regulars on at odd times (like myself late night PST or one of our Shamans midday week days). Our planned events are going to get tricky, too, as I'm 30% of a level from being forced to T4, while a number of regulars are still mid T3.

Also, Destruction on Iron Rock is often shockingly sub-par, so it's usually up to TSM groups to carry the whole Scenario, if we can. Which apparently we can't very well without our badass pocket healer. Which means if Jasconius can't play it's an uphill battle being supported by rank 29 Zealots kicking out 8k healing. I have yet to figure out why they're so universally bad.

I did make it back online after our short guild session today for one more scenario and we won. Unsurprisingly half the team was choppas and sorceresses, the rest was tanks and a few Zealots hitting 130k+.

And I can't wait to get back to Praag. City fighting was ridiculously fun in beta.

So, I haven't been paying much attention to this game since I quit a month after launch, but has leveling got any faster?

I remember I got bored with my Shaman at about level 16 or so, my Bright Wizard at about 17 and my Witch Elf at about 14. I found the quests gave really low amounts of experience and scenarios were becoming a bit stale after running them for the 30th time.

Also, I was in some TSM groups but I could barely do anything when we were trying for keeps because my computer would lag to shit when more than 30 enemies showed up.

I loved low level PvP and I actually enjoyed being a healer.

So, has anything changed or are things pretty much the same as they were?

Sorry if I sound kind of dickish but I don't think you have had gotten a good taste of the game if your highest character is only rank 17, but they did lower the amount of EXP you needed to rank up in T2-T3ish. Thing is, some quests just dont offer as much exp. The best way to level now is still doing some of everything- PQs, Scenarios, ORvR in addition to normal questing.

But if you didn't enjoy leveling up at rank 16, and were varying play style, not just farming the same mobs over and over... I think you may either be doing it wrong or have the wrong game.

Also guys, I am going to be redoing the list of 10 letters. If you don't know what I am talking about, the OP has a sort of CLICK HERE! section in the free trials. Each letter links to a PM to someone offering free trials but its just done on a somewhat random base. So if it is 2 am but some lurker wishes to ask politely for a free trial, they can find someone to ask right there. There are 10 characters in the phrase "Click Here!" so just PM me this time. No need to send extra links or anything, I can work that magic. Just the next 8 or so people to PM me get included in the next OP remake. which would be good to have because come the new content, people will be asking for trials. ;D

So, is Fetch bugged or am I just using it wrong? Send lion at target, once there and in range (power grayed out otherwise) push button and... button goes on cooldown. Is it just really easy to defend against or something? I tried it on NPC mobs and got Immune, and the few times I could actually see the message on players in the chaos of melee it was something like Interrupted or somesuch. Is it just completely useless now? :|

Doesn't work on NPCs of any kind just like all knockbacks.

Send lion to target. Once lion reaches target use the ability. If they have knockback immunity nothing happens. If they move outside of the range before the ability goes off, nothing happens. If the lion glitches at all in it's pathing so it isn't right next to them when you use it, nothing happens. All of these result in you having a cooldown.

Yeah, it's basically useless. I'm not overly impressed with either of the MDPS pulls. About the only thing I'd find them useful for is pulling someone who is running away which fetch isn't very useful for unless you want to spend a tactic slot on the pet speed increase tactic and quite frankly we have far more useful things to spend tactic slots on.

They're both amusing for pulling people who are camping the scenario spawn into the guards though I guess.

From what I've seen, Choppas and Slayers seem to be on par with other MDPS: pretty good if you've got guard+pocket heals, pretty much straight-up failure if you don't. Choppas seem a lot more common on my server, and when they're properly supported they do plenty damage. I'd say they seem more powerful than Slayers, but I just haven't seen many 40 Slayers so it's hard to say.

Too true. I cancelled a little while ago for exactly the same reason. It's frustrating as hell playing a game that is so close to awesome, but because it has a bunch of key flaws is actually like rubbing your face against a cheese grater. That, combined with the fact that patches come out mega slow and they keep pushing back WL fixes (my main) > my willingness to keep paying Mythic.

Well, I'm going to try and get my Slayer to endgame, and then maybe 1 more Order guy, and by then if I feel I've seen and done it all (Assuming I do almost everything Tomb Kings has to offer), I'll probably throw in the towel too. However, the fun of having a coordinated team decimate a superior force is what keeps me going for now.
