you see hylianBunny, what's gonna happen here is that people are gonna wanna vote for you more and more, on the grounds that you're still alive despite some people votin' for you.
You'll get voted out for not bein' voted out, and that's always a hilarious thing.
Hilariously sad.
Seriously, no argument why or anything, Element Brian? It's more frustrating rather than anything.

Well that, plus lonelyahava having somewhat defended him.

Very weakly. I hesitate to even call that a defense, really.
Am I the only one who finds it suspicious that Obbi would hit baddies 2 out of 2 times at the very start of the game? Literally, what are the odds on that?
I did it on the first 2 days of the fatal fury phalla. Again, it specifically says vigged, and I doubt they would go as far to sacrifice 2 of their own just to make us trust him.
So, uh, looks like we've got an opening in the Occult Club! It's unfortunate that our former member LonelyAhava was evil and all, but that doesn't mean we're all bad!
In a game this size, it seems incredibly risky to sacrifice two of their own to get Obbi appearing good, particularly seeing as an alignment seer presumably still exists.
Granted, there is still the possibility of a neutral faction, but hopefully if this seer does exist, he would have analyzed Obbi already and spoken out through a mouthpiece.
I mean, obviously I could be wrong. But you'll note that Obbi has done more than just kill two baddies...he also got a villager killed.
All I am saying is that if I were in baddie-Obbi's position, I would do exactly what he has done so far -- vig two baddies, using my knowledge of their roster, while getting good guys killed via vote to maintain something of a balance. Then, once the trust was established, I would just start vigging good guys and be all, "Welp, can't win 'em all."
I'm basing my vote on how my mind works; others are free to disagree, obviously.
Well I mean clearly if that's what he's doing, it's worked, right? Folks are pretty much lining up behind him.
e: And I don't mean that in a confirmation bias, "just what a witchalok would say" kind of way. It's just a sound strategy for getting people to trust him. I'm not wholly comfortable with him. Wasn't Kime saying something similar a little while ago, or was that just my imagination?
True as that may be, I have faith that there's an alignment seer in the game (since the club seer was evidently eliminated), and if that's the case, not having checked Obbi out would be epic, Helo-XOing-a-toaster, massive failure on their part. :P

Okie dokie, I think all PMs are out, holla holla at me if you think I missed something (I probably did, it's been a pretty unfortunate trend).
Essentially, what it comes down to is, I have to ask myself, "If I were a baddie, would I sacrifice two of my buddies to gain the level of trust which Obbi is currently enjoying?"
If Daius turns up good, maybe your theory is plausible, Gandalf (even if I don't agree necessarily). However, it Daius turns up bad...well, with a game with this few people, sacrificing three seems incredibly risky. Have a little faith.
OK Obbi you have my faith now. Because if Daius is a Revenger, there's no way you'd kill three. And if he isn't, we kill your seer then you and your game is up. This is really a no-win situation if you are bad.
True, but it helps to stick with what you're good at
in your case, bein' useless.
Oh oh! I'm good at that too!
Specifically Gandalf, you never know what shenanigans may occur. Perhaps someone can make second place die instead of first? If everyone else votes for Daius, you've just killed the vig. (Worst case scenario, of course.)

Heh, I saw the link, and I just knew what game it was.

I can't decide between Kime and Spork. For now, I'll placeholder !Kime.
edit: B:L I'm so glad you're still alive.
I didn't mean they had to happen right now...
B:L is dead.
OoO
I don't trust Obbi.
Ah...what is he doing?

Fuck yes I would, without a moment's hesitation.
and hey, looks like !Daius is one of them Revengers!
This is a bandwagon to get behind.

All that really remains is neutral. . .

just to gain the trust of the village, an entity who has systematically shown to be manipulated in much easier ways in previous games.
Especially not when, as you said, we are much more easily manipulable :P.

Gandalf, if you want to prove your theory correct or incorrect, vote Daius and we can be sure.
.... I really doubt Haruhi is the current cause of these temporal anomaly's ....

Every vote makes a difference. If we want to be sure that Daius is on the chopping block, without interference, the more votes the better.
I can has cheezburger, yes?
