This game is basically internet pictionary. Players take turns drawing and guessing. Players earn points for correct guesses, more for guessing sooner than others. The artist also gets points when someone guesses his word.
You play it in-browser, it requires shockwave. You'll be prompted to sign in but you don't have to, just type in any name you want. Once you get logged in, click "User created" and choose whatever room has been mandated by the thread ("Penny Arcade" or "PA GnT" or whatever).
This is what the game looks like when you're drawing:
Lots of drawing controls, especially notice the colors which can be really helpful for your guessers. Also notice the Give Hint button which is also often necessary; the first click gives the number of letters and clicks after that fill in letters one by one. Before someone guesses the word, there will be a Skip button next to the Hint button that is good when you're at a total loss.
When guessing, you can click between the Game window to make guesses and the Chat window for general garbage.
Also when you create a room, you get to choose a word list. Many of these are very poorly put together. "Cartoons" doesn't often give familiar stuff like Bugs Bunny or Mickey Mouse, instead you have to draw obscure crap like Dinky Dog. This even holds for most topics we hold dear like video games. I find I have the most fun with simple lists like US Easy or US Basic.
So lets do this thing!
