More Metal Gear...somehow (watch for spoilers!)

With the sheer awesomeness that was Metal Gear Solid 4 it seems a shame to end the series altogether. I can understand retiring Snake (he IS damn old now) as Kojima said he would, but i'd like the series to continue. Although Kojima has also said HE was going to retire from the series since MGS2 so for all i know we could see Metal Gear Solid 5: Sneaking Extra Pudding (it's a nursign home joke, get it?).
Since Raiden is no longer the whiny bitch he was in MGS2 and was, in fact, pretty bad ass in 4, i wound't mind the series continuing on with him. Thoughts? Ideas?

As an aside, since Hideo Kojima is supposed to be working on another non-metal gear project, i hope to god it's Zone of the Enders 3, that shit was FUN.

    Also, they are hiring more for new metal gear projects, Kojima may or may not be on board. More Metal Gear guaranteed.

    yeah, but that coudl be more stuff like Metal Gear Touch for the ipod or other such side games. i'm hoping for a new entry in the main series. Maybe it'll even change names slightly like Metal Gear becoming Metal Gear Solid.

    hahahaha, i like that my aside comment is the only thing generating replies in this thread

    and yes Zefiro, you should work on that. MGS4 was one of the best games i ever played, played through it 6 times just trying different ways of approaching the game, my best being without using health items, without killing anyone, and without being seen (or getting an alert phase, whatever) on the last time through. And i'm not typically one to play a game through that many time, made easier with MGS4 by cutting out about 8 HOURS of movies since i'd already gotten the story my first time through. sorry for rubbing salt in the wound.
