And I'm looking to get a new one! My last phone was a HTC Touch (regular elf) and I enjoyed it a lot, but since I got it used, I'm not sure if some of its oddness was caused my the previous user or if it's WM that's just generally a bad choice for a reliable phone. Anyway, I'd like something in the same vein and I think I'd have problems moving to a smaller screen now. Also, I've grown very attached to its wi-fi capabilites. Can you guys recommend anything?
I'm currently looking at:
The Samsung F480:
.. for the sole reason that it's on sale at my phone provider - It's missing wi-fi, but if it's really good otherwise, I'd bite the bullet.
HTC Diamond:
Mostly for the familiar feel of Windows Mobile, the ability to just install whatever and for being able to flash a new operating system on to it. But then I sorta figured that I'm not really that fond of WM, unless it's improved here - It's just not right for a touchphone (any input on improvements since the regular HTC Touch?). Also, pretty small screen.
Nokia 5800:
Seems pretty cool, but I can't find a decent review of the thing.. Is the interface atrocious? Also, what apps can be installed there? Is there thirdparty support?
Samsung Omnia:
Has everything I want, but is it really worth the much higher price?

You seem to be a fan of touchscreens, though... Personally I couldn't do that... I've got... touchy... issues... o.o
I'm not even sure I can get a blackberry here, I've never ever seen one. I think it's mostly an US thing?
Also, I'm a little biased towards touchscreen, mostly because of the ability to switch the "keyboard" if I don't like it. I guess a halfqwerty, which I generally use or something like that would make up for it, so I'm open to suggestions with those as well.
The Omnia's big selling point is its camera, right? Like, the camera is supposed to be as good as any medium- to high-end digital camera, so for its price you're really getting two devices. Or so goes Samsung's marketing push. The question is whether you want a camera. But I've heard nothing but good things about that phone.
RIM has a presence in Denmark but you're into touchscreens and the Storm doesn't seem to have made it there yet. From what I've heard you aren't missing too much.
Also take a look at the cell phone thread on this very forum. EDIT: but skip to the last 20 pages or so. Long thread.
I do actually need a camera, so maybe I should just go with the Omnia, because as you say it's nothing but positive review all around.
