The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Give me a second Rob, I'm going to skim over some now. But a specific moment that made me laugh hard was when Tycho hits Gabe and Gabe squeels "Ow!" like a nerd. It was just fun seeing them being stereotypical nerdy friends.
I can say for sure that I would REALLY, REALLY be excited if the podcasts were more regular. If you could get us to one a week, you'd be the man.
this is absolute required listening for everybody.
I listened to that last night and its probably my favorite podcast now, although I remember the one about the Wii pre-launch marketing campaign being really good too.
People called fucking Tortimer of Animal Crossing a potential child molestor!
For the record, the podcast was about psychotic sensationalist news by small time news outlets.

It would be neat if there was a directory of podcasts so I could just go through the list one at a time instead of having to dig through the newspost archives.
I can't remember what comic it was for, but the one where they were planning to do the comic about the guys in the really large hats (for some RPG) is one that sticks out in my mind as being really enjoyable. They ended up going with a different idea but listening to them develop both ideas was great.
Also the Army of Two podcast as others will probably mention was great.
"Your kids are way smart. They're probably fuckin' right now. I bet he's outback fuckin' a dog. You wouldn't know. He's probably high on drugs! FUCKIN' DOGS! Is your dog high? Watch tonight at eleven!"
Yeah I've never listened to one, but that's largely because I miss the original news post and don't feel like sifting through pages. If there were a page that housed all of them, and maybe an rss feed for new ones that I could subscribe to with my itunes, that would be radical.
Without naming specifics, the ones I like the best are where they take a short time to bullshit about what's going on in gaming or in specific games they're playing. I know that often leads to developing the comic, but their gaming tangents are the golden parts for me. Hashing out the dialogue is decidedly less so, although it's still good.
Hahaha, this is also the podcast where they talk about the guy who's job it is to foolproof toys that say letters of the alphabet for being able to spout out dirty words. "Sodomite, Scat, Golden Shower."
its been a while since i listened to it, and i'm not exactly sure what the name of the podcast was, but there was one where they read fan mail and the like, and received one from a crazy dude ranting about killing christians or something along those lines. I remember laughing my ass off for it.
I think their best material comes not only from some of the discussions that result from scanning websites for gaming news, but also games that they both decidedly hate.
Just because its great hearing them going back and forth trying to adequately describe their hate and contempt for something. The "bro" conversation that came up from discussing Army of Two was hilarious.

They're all brilliant. I too enjoy the random bullshitting about eating sausage-butts, See's candy and Pork Fry stories. Hearing little Gabe Jr./Elliot stories is also a delight. Also the one where they speculate about what would happen if Gabe dies, and Tycho's plan to hire a team of artists, hook them up to a sleigh, and ride around the north pole.
However, I think we can all agree that the best is the one when Khoo pops in for the sole purpose of showing off how fucking sweet his hat is.

Have you forgotten the recent competition between him and PA? He posted the competition on his twitter while Khoo took the high road and didn't put it on the main page or make a thread in the forums. We were winning until his underhanded skullduggery came into play.
Hell yes, just found another one of my favorite podcasts: 04/12/2006 Doctor Feelgood. For me, this is a close second after "Our Crucial Pamphlet."
The conversation dealing with the creation of the comic was really good, as well as how they gave each other shit about what they were like in high school.
Mike: "You were kinda weird back then."
Jerry: "I would argue that has, that's a policy that I've maintained throughout . . ."
Mike: "No you're a lot more normal now than you used to . . ."
Jerry: "You think so."
Mike: "Oh yeah.
Jerry: "Wha, what was going on then?"
Mike: "You used to wear weird shit."
Jerry: "Well, you mean like the tea bag on the . . ."
Mike: "Yeah, why did you? You used to tie a tea bag to your glasses."
Jerry: "Well its because I, I enjoyed the fresh, just the fresh scent. It occurred to me that . . ."
Mike: "Its like you weren't even trying to not get beat up."
Jerry: "Well yes its . . . eventually you just, I just sorta fell out of that, I just sort of accepted that I was not those people and there was . . ."
Mike: "You didn't accept it, you tied a fuckin' tea bag to your glasses."
Funny stuff, it just gets stranger from there. The comic:

Hurry! While we still have the chance!
We have the opportunity to recreate a similar podcast with this new article that just hit: http://kotaku.com/5172152/mainstream-media-animal-crossing-mayor-could-be-a-sexual-predator

I tweeted at you a couple times, like about the new shirt and whatnot.
At least, I think @rkhoo is you. . .unless it's not.
Geek, they're on iTunes, though I dunno if you use iTunes.
Big ass block of text?
If you add that to an RSS feed-reader or a player that supports podcasts it'll load properly.
Also the Army of Two podcast as others will probably mention was great.
Whence Wii is the other one I was thinking of.

I never checked the other ones out tho, as I don't really care all that much about video games.
