A PAX History Page?

I'm looking for a page that details all of the things that went on last year at PAX08. I'm trying to convince some friends of mine to go with me to PAX this year. Unfortunately the official PAX page is absolutely empty and devoid of anything helpful right now. The PAX page on Wiki was also pretty subpar.

Is there a PAX page full of photos and details about all the things that went on last year?

    My best and fastest recommendation is to search for PAX08 on Youtube and Flickr.

    There you can find gems like this one:

    Further edit: Pre-PAX and prepax are also good search terms that will give you more insight on the community events.

    When the official PAX08 DVD is released, you could pick that up, or check out the project my crew worked on. Other then that, basically what ET said: search the interweb!

    Maybe we should re-make a pictures thread of some sort. :P

    I'm not even sure where/how to begin honestly... But I DO think collecting some of the great PAX moments of the past and putting together either a thread or even a separate page would be a blast :D

    To be fair, those 3 laptops were supplemented with about 400 DSes, and I'm sure each one had screens and screens full of Dicktochatting...

    I found a ton of the cosplay pics and whatnot that I took at pax. I'll get some of them resized and share them out :)

    UPDATE: The folder is set up with the photos I've got of the cosplay from last.

    There are zips of the pics in medium size images and the full size images as well. :)

    Yeah a good portion of those were taken by my group, not just me. That includes majority of the Picto-chat pics. :P

    When I went to the demo, I got the card for the poster. Then on Sunday, when the Bethesda booth was handing out the rest of their swag, an enforcer cut the line off RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. :(

    Been thinking on this, sonicblue might be onto something. A wiki like engine for enabling user created submissions and shared pax experiences along with photos and links to youtube video’s.

    Think about how many stories get shared on the forum and in irc that just disappear to the void of time.

    The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

    Well the forum does represent a searchable archive, and any smart person keeps logs of IRC (I have years worth, though I'm not in much these days), so it's all there, it's just nobody wants to read it. Maybe all that can be categorized somehow.

    It could be called the PAX Archive Project: Somebody Might Enjoy Accessing Records. (I'm such a terrible person.)

    I used to work in a medical record room, and everybody always thought that word was so funny. It was sad...
