Anyway, time for Roll Call. First off, don't even bother looking for Nocturne. Got word from the Producer that "Oscar" couldn't cut it out here on the island and quit. Who can't handle the fun and the sun is beyond me, but whatever. His loss, really.
Oh, Gumpy was found a little while ago, passed out in her bed. Our medics say "Imogen" must have drank something a little more potent than rum, and she won't be returning to the game. Poor thing, really. Oh, it's a similar story for DasUberEdward, too. "Jasmine" had to get her stomach pumped and is in no condition to party it up.
As for the rest of you, it looks like you're all here. That's good—I'm impressed. There was some serious partying going down. Frankly, I'm not sure how any of you could concentrate on… well, anything with some of the distractions out there.
But, there's no room for distractions here. We've got a job to do for FOX, so let's get to it so we can all get some sleep. Go ahead and let me know who you think is a Zealot so we can kick 'em off and enjoy the sun and the sand.

It seems kind of strange what the objective/extra mechanics do for the village at this point. Are putting singles or spitting up couples just a role block or something?

This is to remind us all of the innate meaninglessness of all human relationships, be they monogamous or polyamorous.
