iPod Troubles(Video sync)

It's a bit unusual for me to be making tech threads instead of solving them but this is just getting aggravating so here it goes.

I've recently purchased a 120gb ipod classic and was using winamp to sync. sadly it seems the video doesn't sync off of there so i tried installing itunes (something i was putting off out of some unknown fear) and my premonitions were correct. the install made my drivers not work and nothign recognized my ipod. tried updating, restarting, and reinstalling drivers to no avail. whatever itunes changed it really messed things up. so i uninstalled it and did a system rollback. now i can sync in wimamp again but still no video sync option. so my question and also my tldr; is this

tldr; is there a way to sync videos to your ipod using winamp, and if not can you tell my of a non itunes application that would sync videos to my ipod? (video formats include but are not limited to avi and mpeg)
