Firefox Problems

Ok, firefox is being really gay.

It asked me to do a Google bar update so I did it, don't know why but I went ahead and did it and now it's being screwy. I uninstalled that update and even reinstalled Firefox. Still when I go to different pages, the address bar doesn't change.

Going to the forums doesn't change it from "penny-arcade.com" to "p-a.com/forums" and it doesn't even had the http:// and I can't go back on pages either.

    Ugh I had like the exact same problem a long time ago when I had too many addons for my own good, but I can't remember what fixed it. Have you tried turning them all off?

    Now my computer is running a bit slower than it has before. I ran AVG and it found two infections but it hasn't fixed anything as far as performance goes. Any tips/advice?
