That's disappointing. But not terribly so, because I did enjoy spectating and seeing scenes that looked like the movie. So maybe I'll just leave my experience of the game at that.
That might be the best plan. It's not the worst game ever made, and as I said sometimes it looks really nice. But every time I start to like it something terrible happens in the design. If you've got access to the Playpack already, there are probably worse ways to spend 45 minutes. Provided you can look past the awful cutscenes. I wouldn't recommend paying for the game directly though.
It's a boring, bland game. Not worth anyone's time or money.
So this just launched in the UK and I gave it a whirl to play the first 30 minutes of Space Marine and will likely take them up on their "game for £1" introductory offer.
This shit is like witchcraft. It doesn't look as good as it would if I ran the game on my pc but I have a decent PC and I am really impressed with my first run of the service.
Will try pick up a free box at the Eurogamer expo this week.

They also give away free games/onlive consoles with preorders a lot.
Not sure how much of this is going to translate to UK, but I'd say their prices are very good.
