Apple Pages

So, I had two files open. One was my essay, the other was a word doc with the prompt. I thought I hit apple+W on the word doc, so when it asked if i'd like to discard changes or not save or whatever, I said sure. Turns out I hit apple+Q instead.

I haven't done anything else or tried to reopen pages. Would this be stored in some sort of temp file somewhere? Did I just lose my work through one of the dumbest things possible?

Edit: No time to wait. Downloaded EverSave and starting over.
