I've been looking for Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (the PSP game) for ages, but it doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere. Best I could find was new for €20 (~£18,5) from PlayTrade. Should I go with that or are there maybe any better offers for the game (with shipping to EU mainland)?
I'd just like to thank DusT_HounD for offering me his copy for a very fair price. Thanks, pal.
I don't know. Sure, the plot gets a little slow half way through, but it picks up towards the end, and even though the graphics are a tad dated the combat is the best I've played on the system. So it gets a thumbs up from me, especially at that price.

I have to disagree - I thought that the recent update to the Conficker boss didn't live up to the hype.
I found it irritating and sluggish. I couldn't get my character to do what I wanted, the controls were un-intuitive and I felt I had to wrestle with the game to do anything at all.
And to top it all off I had to play another game to un-install the damn thing.
Right. Got my new PS3, now I need to replace the 60GB drive with something larger as the PlayTV will probably suck up a lot of space. Anyone know of a good place to get cheap, large-sized (250GB, maybe 500GB depending on price) 2.5" SATA drives?

This seems like a rather good deal for anyone needing a wireless 360 controller. £24.96 for a wireless, and a copy of Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones.
I'm going for the ebay deathstrike. Since my 360 broke way back in January I've been going nuts. So I'm buying another but it has to be dirt cheap. Seen one on ebay, no leads or controllers just the basic console. I'm a little concerned but fuck it, I'll risk it.
Hey LewieP, could you find me good deals on an X360 controller (wired or not) and Singstar Queen for the PS2?
Well I am pretty sure that there is a 360 controller bundle everywhere, where you get a wireless controller + Kung Fu Panda + Lego Indiana Jones for cheap. It is a pretty good deal considering Lego Indiana Jones is a great game.

PFFF! Kung Fu Panda is so much better.
Either way, find that bundle and you're golden! In fact, it should be up on Lewies site.

Isn't there a deal on at the minute for a wireless controller and 2 games for £25, you could always sell on the games as new (I think one is Kung Fu Panda).
Just going to bed, but will have a proper look for singstar in the morning. The Kung Fu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones is the best deal going atm for a controller though (I am just about to post it again ;D)
Oh and it turns out that the ebay 360 thing I only just mentioned here is over. I won the bid?! I swear there was over a day to go. Damn. I've fired a message off to the fella asking him to confirm that the console is working absolutely fine. Hopefully it is and I'm not going insane.

Lewie sorted me out with a shed load of memory for my PS3 to use with Play TV, sadly, his sister is complaining about the amount of Dr Who that's taking up a bit of the memory. Clearly I've failed as a parent, cos neither of them like Dr Who, I have to watch on my own, and the Cybermen scare me...

I know I really must get Burnout Paradise, but I've been put off the series by the persistent rubber-banding. Is it still prevalent in that, or did Criterion finally learn?

It's there, but I only noticed it after beating the game half to death. It's extremely well-balanced. Essentially, it's set up so that you'll always be able to win, but you'l always feel like it was a close-run thing.

Ahh, okay. That was kind of my problem with other ones though, that I'd get to about half-way through the game and hit that brick wall that made boosting a pointless exercise. You boost, they stay 2 seconds behind you, you crash (because you're going fast) and it's race over. Stay slow, and they still park behind you, but you've got more chance to avoid things.
I do still want to get it though, and will. Just not this month, I feel.
GOD. Another £15 on stupid RROD fix kits. Atleast this time I'm getting 'new' Heatsinks and thermal paste. Stilll, this is the last time I spend money on this stupid machine. I really should buy a new one. And Screw that ebay guy, trying to hock a machine he repaired himself.
Does anyone know any stores which sell 360s that would accept PayPal as payment?
As I'm getting my 360 fund from eBay, rather than transfer my PayPal money to my bank account and have to wait a week I'd prefer to be able to spend the money directly from my PayPal account.
I could buy a new one from an eBay shop but I'd rather not as I don't know what sort of warranty (if any) I would get.
edit - Nervermind, looks like dabs.com accept PayPal, as well as gameseek.co.uk. So now I have to ask myself, do I want to wait a week and get an awesome LewieP deal or am I an impatient goon?
So Goozex is pretty awesome, but the sucky thing is that even though the prices are good, the games that I want aren't available, and given that I'm 4th in the queue, they probably won't be for a while.
Still, Persona 3 FES for 350 points is not bad. I figure I can wait.

Never played it but heard good things and for £2 I won't be bothered if it's crap.
Oh, PC DVD btw.

If that deal is there on monday (after my eBay auctions expire) I'm all over it like a rash.
And yet it's still better than The Path.

That's the one I was going to get when I had a spare £50. Not a bad price for a 320gb drive and by all accounts it works great with the ps3.
