That's kind of the problem with that kind of service, especially early on. Hopefully it will get better - it likely will.

Does anyone know any stores which sell 360s that would accept PayPal as payment?

As I'm getting my 360 fund from eBay, rather than transfer my PayPal money to my bank account and have to wait a week I'd prefer to be able to spend the money directly from my PayPal account.

I could buy a new one from an eBay shop but I'd rather not as I don't know what sort of warranty (if any) I would get.

edit - Nervermind, looks like dabs.com accept PayPal, as well as gameseek.co.uk. So now I have to ask myself, do I want to wait a week and get an awesome LewieP deal or am I an impatient goon?

Avoid Gameseek like your life depends on it.

Game are giving out £25 credit for any 2 DS games (boxed with instructions). It varies wildly by store. Some will only do 2 games per person, some will only let you use any 2 DS games to get a new DS game for £4.99, some won't let you put it towards a DSi, some are advertising to trade 12 DS games for a free DSi, some are giving straight credit. Apparently Argos's 4 terrible EA DS games for some string and maybe a look at some money are taking a huge beating because of it. Game will probably have every bit of DS shovelware in existence by Monday.

Noted. thanks. I think I'll transfer the funds to my bank account, I thought PayPal charged you to do this, but they don't.

I have £80.20 so far and about 24 hours left on my auctions.

They usually spike in the last few hours so I'm hoping for around £120. Enough to net me an Arcade deal, I might try the £80 arcade offer then spend the rest on games. I can always pick up a Live kit (HDD&headset) in a couple of months.

Best case scenario, I get about £170 for a 60gb bundle.

Whoop! I got £159.52 for my games, minus 10% for eBay costs..about £143..I can front the odd £20 for a 60gb bundle or if that £149.99 elite deal is still going I'll get in on that.

Roll on thursday (payday) so I can order my 360.

Anyone know a good place to get a cheap Network Switch? I'm doing over my spare bedroom. I've taken the single bed out and replaced it with a futon (When it gets delivered). Swapped my monitor for a 21" Sony Bravia, hooked up my projector in the middle of the room, got in a cheap 5.1 system and brought up my Megadrive/Snes/Dreamcast/360 to play on the projector. (Ok I haven't got ALL that done yet, i've got most of the bits and pieces but need a new coffee table and am waiting for the futon to arrive).

However I want to be able to play my 360 online, there's already a network cable going up to the pc from the router downstairs so I figured a switch would give me extra ports.

Also not gaming related but if anyone knows of a well priced mini-fridge I might put one of those up here too :)

Sorry, I can't help you but it sounds like you'll have a pretty sweet setup post some pics when it's all done

This is sort of gaming related. Posters, i have a few hi-resolution, gaming images that i would like to be printed poster size. Does anyone know where i can go to get this done quite cheaply for the standard poster size or slightly smaller? I've tried online but most of them set you back around £20 per poster including delivery which is quite steep since im not sure how they'll come out

    Any help = much appreciated.

I've been playing around with vector magic and illustrator and getting some decent results, infact its what i've been planning on printing but i got my hands on some really hi-res sfiv pictures i wanted to print out too.

I didn't think those photo printing shops did poster type prints, worth a shot i guess, thanks!

I got some done on to A3 at a place in York but I can't remember the name now. I think it's a chain store though and it didn't cost me much (think it was about £10 for four, then I got them framed). I'm away on business at present but I'll walk by there tomorrow and post the name of the place.

Right, I've been banging on about it for about a week, but it's plunge time.

I'm either going to get the..

£159.99 deal on Amazon where you get the 60gb 360 and a game for £10, probably Fable 2 or GTA IV, which totals £169.99

    or...

ideally the Argos deal where you get a 60gb 360 with Halo 3, Forza 2 and Mass Effect for £186,

depends what my bank account looks like on thursday...

Anyone got any comparable deals before I commit?

    OH. MY. GOD.
You guys are not gonna believe this.
So my brother works at Grattans, AKA OTTO PLC, AKA that place that's closing down soon. He comes home from work and is frantically searching for something. I ask what and he tells me his chequebook. So I'm a little confused. I ask him to explain and he tells me a work friend of his said he bought a......... get this
28" Samsung HDtv, 14" HDtv, Ipod Touch, some microwave and a groovy looking Laptop for...... and this is the insane part, £30.

They had a sample sale on at his place in the morning. Unfortunately my bro was working in the morning so he wasn't able to go but he managed to go in the afternoon. He got 3 sets of curtains, a push-bike, dual-slice toaster and a parasol all for a tenner. Damned luck. WHY MUST YOU BE AGAINST US!

It was stuff that companies send to them, samples so they can't actually sell that on to the public. Instead they offload it onto the staff for next to nothing.

360 player, aged 27 is looking for a cheap wired pad to help fill those lonely single player nights. Enjoys platform games, beat 'em ups and the odd split-screen FPS. Race/colour not an issue. Must be new and not recently out of a relationship.

Play-Asia wont ship PSP or PS3 games to Europe. You best bet is Ebay seen a few from good sellers in Japan for around the £35-40 mark.

No English language (however, you can patch it if you have a 'customized' PSP). You're better off waiting for Monster Hunter Freedom United - the official release, which should be around June-July period.

Speaking of which, Capcom UK will apparently be opening some place in London as a gathering spot for MH players to play together. It will be open for one month, July, and close around 8pm everyday. Free sweets and fizzy drinks. I'll have to pop down there one day :)

Okay, I'm heading to Argos first thing tomorrow to pick up two of those guitars. Now, I also need a copy of Rock Band.

What's a good deal on the first Rock Band? I'm going on the assumption that it'll be way cheaper than the second one.
