YES, MOTHERFUCKERS! THE SCIENCE GUY IS BACK!
Most of us probably grew up with Bill Nye the Science Guy. Probably one of the best kids shows around because it was fucking fun, funny, cool, interesting and had some sweet ass science related songs. Well guys, Bill is not done yet. No! Instead of just educating us as children, Bill has come back to educate us as adults on his new show on something called the Green Planet channel here in the states. I don't think I get it but its listed as one of the Discovery Channel networks and is probably not included with basic cable... but I get his show from the "On Demand" section which rules.
So what does the Science Guy have to show us about being green. Well first off, everything we do has an impact on the planet around us, and with making better decisions, we can stop destroying this planet with our miserable, meaningless existences. Namely by way of learning to conserve stuff, handy Life Hacker like tricks and tips, and also consumer awareness and where the best choices are to make if you are trying to think green. It's some really clever shit he comes up with, and remember guys... when we do shit, Shit Happens!
Here's a taste of the show. I would keep my eye open for it, its really good stuff. Pun unintended.

Sad to say though, I'm not so sure the show is being picked up by many people. It would if it moved to the general discovery channel I bet. He's still got the good old Nye charm. Here's also a list of the episodes hes done so far.

It's not that they are stupid. He was giving a lecture based around science and he decided to throw in stupid stuff from the Bible. It pissed religious people off and they reacted the way one would expect.
That sucks.
Does it actually say in the bible, or one of them, that the moon is its own source of light? Why should he expect to be abused for clearing something up like that, he was clearly there to educate.
The audio quality is fine, but the volume is way low. It's at a comfortable level, but only with my volume settings and the speaker all at max.
