costello, that is.
who else is into collecting vinyl?
for the longest time i've been meaning to buy a record player. i saw a really cheap one at aldi, of all places, and figured that i might as well grab it while it was there and if i accumulated enough of a collection to justify it, i'd invest in something better
less than a week later, i've got 34 records, at an average cost of $2.50 each. i've hit up markets and charity shops and collector's dens, and i've managed to get some fantastic music
from iconic 80's stuff
to incredible, random compilations
and all sorts of crazy-good music you'd never have otherwise looked twice at
it's an amazingly satisfying way to spend your time, and as long as you've got a few bucks you can come home with a big stack of new (old) music
some of you guys must have some records lying around, tell me about them!
