I am still confused as to how 6 hours of wandering around town, eating, shopping/browsing with a friend is more exhausting than doing exercise or manual labour.
I totally sympathize with this, guy. The work girl I've been messing with wanted to go out on a proper 'date' instead of just fooling around a while back. I ran a half marathon that day, so I had to decline. After the half marathon I stayed up all night. We finally did our 'date' a couple of weeks later. We walked around the city for hours, went to eat, talked for a couple more hours, then kissed goodnight. Upon getting home I immediately passed out and crashed for 14 hours.
I wonder if it's something to do with brain activity while hanging around with acquaintances that's producing the exhaustion, because it sure as hell isn't physical exertion.
Looking at those puppy pictures made me want to play pokemon for some reason...

I saw a puppy at an animal shelter today and it was soooooo cute
I also was there to check out a couple dogs that got neglected and they were all happy and shit even though they'd been tied up in bad conditions and one of them had staph infections on its face :(:(
My cat was found by a relative outside with a few of her kittens. A few of the kittens died, others went to other homes, and I took my cat. She was very scared of people at first. She still panics, sometimes, where she doesn't like what I'm doing and she'll sink into my arm or whatever is closest. She's a very sweet cat, though.

All my pets have been rescue pets.
And I have had some of the most awesome pets ever.
Widget, the black and white cat in the second photo, is fucking gorgeous, a fact to which Inqi can attest. Soft, lustrous fur, big adorable eyes...and she was a rescue!

Okay, "fuck you if you buy a cat" is a little strong, since some people don't necessarily know better, but seriously, get your pets from the pound or a rescue facility.
My cat was found by a relative outside with a few of her kittens. A few of the kittens died, others went to other homes, and I took my cat. She was very scared of people at first. She still panics, sometimes, where she doesn't like what I'm doing and she'll sink into my arm or whatever is closest. She's a very sweet cat, though.
Friend recently got a shelter cat. It enjoys knocking things over and hopping inside of bags.
