So I got this rad new job, and I need a rad new phone, in order to show off my exponential increase in
personal importance. Oh ho ho ho.
What kinds of phones do you guys use? I was looking at the LG voyagers, or one of those Helios, but good god I dislike touch screens.

I'd like to find something foldable (to the side), that I can IM on and possibly other things. And if at all possible I'd like something where the screen is not subject to the horrors of my pocket. Loose change, pens, the occasional lighter. But I am not very good at cell phone talk and I do not want to get owned by a salesman, so I come to you guys.
My budget is around $150 + 40-50 per month.

That said, I love my G1. But going by what you said, it probably isn't the best bet for you. With the extremely large touchscreen and the not being a folding phone, but it does do internet great and it should have flash on it by the end of '09 according to the developers and the flash guys.
