Nintendo DSi hardware launches this week! Today I think! Sounds good to me!

And so does its launch software, include DSiWare titles. Other NDS game out this week is Rhythm Heaven which looks awesome, and is a regular NDS game iirc.

The HD systems are getting Assault on Dark Athena and Godfather II.

PS2 and PSP are getting the latest rehash of Guilty Gear XX.

X360 gets Ninja Blade, and XBLA gets Puzzle Quest Galactrix I think.

So it's a decent week.

Bah, the one week when I actually know what's coming out on PSN and you already have it. :P

I hope there's a demo for Flock since it looks a little interesting, but I am not really looking forward to Ragdoll Kung Fu whatsoever.

I can almost guarantee that in 11 hours people will be playing The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask on the Wii's Virtual Console in North America.

I really want to see Virtual Console on the DSi. Yes, Virginia, I would buy Super Mario RPG again just for the portable nature.

Besides that, the DSi Ware launch is fairly weak. Weaker than Wii Ware, perhaps. But there's good stuff on the horizon and I'm excited for it.

Also: New DSi buyers get 1,000 free Nintendo Funbucks when they connect to the shop. Good stuff.

Where do you get this from?

Also, trading in a couple games tomorrow and picking up Rhythm Heaven Gold.

I'll get Riddick soon, Godfather II dependent on reviews and Hannah Montana for easy Trophies. :P

Majora's Mask released in the EU last week. It's hoped that it'll grace NA shores this week.

Hey Slash, WarioWare: Snapped!, Bird & Beans, Brain Age Express: Math, Master of Illusion Express: Funny Face, and Art Style: AQUIA are all DSi Ware launch titles, just so you know. I have no idea whether Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity is a retail game or not. Weird fucking title though, to be sure.

I'm probably picking up the DSi sometime this week myself. It was good to see from the DSi thread that it looks like there are plenty of systems in stock just about everywhere so far.

It's probably not better on DS.

The XBLA version of Puzzle Quest 1, anyways, was worlds better than the DS version.

Ninja Blade already? I guess it's a Ninja game so it makes sense that it snuck up.

Not that I'm really planning on picking it up, but it's in my peripheral vision since it's the Otogi guys (just make a new Otogi already! I'll buy it!)

The PS3 version? If so, make sure to tell me how good/terrible the PS3 port is. The demo unsold me on the game but I'm looking for an excuse to still pick it up when I get my PS3 back.

Cool. So if it's not too much to ask, could you answer a couple of questions? Is the framerate improved from the demo? And do they let you customise the controls? I can't stand it when shoot is mapped to the R2 button, it's usually a sign of a shoddy port.

The Penny Arcade RPG (first episode) is 800 points this week on XBLA if you have a Gold account.

Also, apparently Puzzle Quest Galactrix will be 1600 points and Flock will be 1200.

If I can manage to put off buying a DSi for awhile then I should be good for this week. The Rhythm Heaven demo didn't really click with me and somewhere around here I still have my old copy of Riddick. None of my friends play Guilty Gear so I might as well stick with my vanilla copy of AC until BlazBlue comes out with online play. I liked the first Godfather but I've been hearing some not so great things about the sequel.

Hm, I probably will end up getting a DSi at some point though. The thought of mobile VC makes me very happy, and I had skipped the DS Lite.

I bought my DSi yesterday, still thinking about picking up Rhythm Heaven too.

I also downloaded Art Style: Aquia on the DSiWare network, and it is pretty fun and addictive.

I will be downloading Uncharted Waters: New Horizons from the VC tonight. :^:

I would imagine that the PS3 version is essentially the same as the 360 version, seeing as its Starbreeze (The Darkness was pretty much the same on both). The demo apparently unsold a lot of people, but that's a section from the new game content, and what I'm seeing from reviews is that the new game stuff isn't quite as solid as Escape from Butcher Bay.

Everyone who buys a DSi this week and likes puzzle games, especially ones like Lumines, should definitely buy Aquia from the DSiWare store. It's great, it's only $5 (from your free $10 credit) and as a demonstration of digital-distro fun little puzzle game, it's surprisingly deep and replayable.

My wife wanted to try Aquia, and she ended up playing it for almost two hours, and refused to give me my DSi back until she went to bed. :(
