Hooking up an SNES to a monitor.

So, since I don't have a TV in my room, I figured I'd buy a VGA converter box and hook up my SNES or any of my older consoles to my monitor. I went ahead and ordered one of these.

It's hooked up using RCA cables, and works fine, except for one small detail, I don't have any sound. I have an Audigy 2 sound card. If anyone has any ideas as to how I can get this working, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Stupid question, I am sure, your monitor definitely has built in speakers?

Why is the sound card relevant? Since you'll not be connected to the PC at all right?

You should be able to find something like this, which you can plug the audio outs into and plug it into the mic in jack on your soundcard, then run the audio through your PC speakers.

Worked for my 360 but not sure if there would be any problems with an older console, can't see whay there would be though.

There we go. The mic channel was muted.
