I bought this bad boy a few months ago here.
Anyway I just recently got HD cable through comcast and hooked up the cable box.
The set up is cable box -> component cables -> tv. I turn it on and go to comcasts HD channels. It still says it's 480i and it isn't automatically going to 16:9 picture.
I know if my tv is setup wrong or my cable. I have reason to believe it's my tv because my dvd player which is progressive scan only plays my dvds in 480i as well.
