Netbook + Webkinz = Confusion

My kids love webkinz. Funny thing is that my wife and I started playing several months ago with our youngest sons webkinz...and there are some fun games and stuff out there that we enjoy even today. Fast forward to today. I recently got a Dell Mini 9. 1 gig of ram and the 16gig SSD. I have an issue though.

The very first time we tried to play webkinz on my netbook, it would let us log in and get to the first page that comes up when you log in, but we didn't have a way to scroll up or down. Webkinz is all done in flash so I dont't know if that has something to do with it or not. Anyways, we tried it again and it loaded up again just fine and the vertical scrollbar was there. No need for a horizontal one, but the vert scroll was there and we played around for about an hour that night with no problems at all.

Since then though, I can not for the life of me figure out what the deal is or how to fix it. I log in and it simply will not give us the vert scrollbar. We need it to play due to the screen size on a netbook, but it has only loaded that scroll bar once and I have tried several times. I plan to get a 2gig stick of ram, but I don't see that as the fix.

Is there anything with greasemonkey that I could use to make sure I always see that vert scroll bar? Is there anything I can do to make it load up all the time? I use FireFox, most recent edition and I have tried IE to no avail.

I don't know about with your netbook, but with mine there is a button to quickly change resolution. You can compress a high resolution...the game would be distorted, but still there, or you could do something where you keep normal resolution, but when your cursor touches the side of the screen the screen itself will scroll over.

There's probably a better solution out there, but that's what I can think of.

I'm not familiar with the website, so I don't know if it's just barely too tall or much too tall, but pushing F11 will toggle fullscreen in the browser you're using, giving you a bit of extra screen realestate.

I found this potential solution for you
Here's an easy solution, no drivers to install, just use Firefox 3.

    1) Install firefox 3:
    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html

    2) Copy and paste the webkinz app address below, directly in the address bar:
    URL: http://mci2.webkinz.com/loader4.php?go=loadReturnUser&aol=0&fs=0
Save a bookmark to the site.

    3) Now just make the web window full screen, by selecting View/Full Screen from the firefox menu bar.
Login and your set. Unlike other browsers with Firefox 3 you'll now have a vertical scroll bar
at the side to so users can see all of the screen as needed.
