So I used to have a zune, and loved the crap out of their subscription service. It was so awesome to download and entire album without caring that I may only like one or two songs.
Then I got my macbook as my only computer and of course Zune doesn't work with macs. I'm aware of loading windows into it, but it honestly sounds like a huge hassle just for me to use Zune software. And I do use my Ipod touch a lot.
So anyone have any services they can recomend that will work with a mac and touch?
i can't believe no one's responded with "itunes" yet
probably because it's not a subscription service
I'm giving Scanner the benefit of the doubt and assuming he meant that he can't believe nobody had made that mistake yet. >_>
Unfortunately, there are no subscription services that work with iPod, so even if you DID use, say, the Rhapsody web player (if it still exists) or Zunepass, you wouldn't be able to load any of the audio on to your player. I'm in the same boat (Rhapsody/Zunepass lover, Apple user), and it sucks.
I can't believe MS is stubborn enough not to let zune work on macs.
Uh, you've got that the wrong way around. Apple locked out WMA.
Really? Ugh, fuck apple then.
In general when you hear "Proprietary lockout" the first question should be "Is any part of the equation an apple product".
Uh... this is wrong. Apple doesn't "lock out" WMA on their computers. It's just that iTunes doesn't support it, and by extension, iPods. It's still perfectly easy to find a player that will play WMA on a Mac. Zunes not working on Macs is purely Microsoft's doing.

We're talking about iPods here.

I thought the whole point was that it was a zune.
Nope. OP wanted something like ZunePass for his iPod Touch.
