Tiny PowerPoint question

How d'you insert a clickable hyperlink into a MS PP 2003 slide? Insert --> Hyperlink is as far as I can get. :/

I'm not looking to embed YouTube videos, just open a new window for them. If that's possible, awesomesauce. If not, well, I'll have to rely on my audience's recollection of Legends of the Hidden Temple. (LOL Media Studies homework.)

Does that not work? I'm running with PowerPoint 2007 in Compatibility mode to try to test, so it may not be exactly the same, but I can use Insert -> Hyperlink and it worked fine.

I did find that, when viewing the slideshow, if the link was the only text on the screen at the time (as it was the first time I tested), I had trouble finding the link with the mouse, since the cursor only showed up when it was over the link text. However, when I had other text on the page for my second try, the cursor showed up much easier and I was able to click the link with no problem. I didn't even need to hold Ctrl and click, as you have to to use links from within Word and whatnot.

A friend of mine walked me through it an hour ago; I just "inserted" a hyperlink to nowhere, right-clicked on Edit Hyperlink, and stuck it in somewhere. Thanks.

Ah, yeah, I could see that mistake being made (confusing the display text field and the actual link field). Whoops. Glad you figured it out though.
