Yes, I know we now have games like Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead, but nothing is like Quake.

And yes, I know we have Quake Live, but it doesn't have all the game types of team arena, or the awesome mods, or the satisfying gore, and it's practically impossible to get in a room with friends and play together.

I know most of you, if not all, have the discs on your gaming shelf or sitting under your computer desk. So dig them out and let's play Quake like it's 1999!

    Would you settle for Q4? I own Q3, but I have Q4 already cocked locked and ready to rock!!

    Also have UT2K4 loaded, and just picked up UT3 today..

    I do have UT2K4. Sadly I do not have Quake 4, though.

    I'll see if my hacked copy of Q3 will load on windows Vista.. will advise. However, I think you need to show up for a game of UT2K4 as well to show your ability to compromise :winky:

    I will be glad to play if we can get a regular gig going- It's a little tough for me to play on Mon-Wed nights (wife works), but I can play pretty much any other night or weekend times depending on when everyone's available.

    I've been considering setting up my own server with gameservers, but it all depends on how interested people actually are in playing.

    I know that Q4 asks you to install PunkBuster separate from the game install. Why don't you try just installing the game files and bypassing the PunkBuster add-on? Maybe that will do the trick.
