Hey, I read some book years and years ago and I wanna read it again. It's about some old black guy who lives in watts, California. i wanna say he just got out of prison if I remember correctly. He's squatting in some house or apartment or something. Steals power and stuff. I think there might be riots that occur sometime in the book. I remember a part where he finds some kid trying to steal from him or something and takes him in. Or rather, starts to be nice to him. There's a part where he cooks some food and they eat. It then talks about how you have to shit after you eat a good meal when you haven't eaten good in a long time.
