I created a thread about a month ago asking for tips about Atlanta. Well, that one didn't go through but I did get a great job in Fort Myers and I am moving down there in 3-4 weeks.
In 2 weeks I am going down to secure a residence, and I am dredging to see if I can find any tips on locales.
I'll be in south Fort Myers in vicinity of Metro Parkway (zip 33966). Pretty much everything in the whole city is in my price range, so really I am just looking for testimonials. I am not averse to living downtown either, which is also in a decent driving distance to Metro.
I know that Ft. Myers isn't exactly overflowing with people but I figure there's at least one or two people who've been there
