Quick History Question

Does anyone know when the forums started? On wayback machine it shows it as early as October of 1999, but I can't figure out the exact month/year before that.

    There's that history thread that ElderCat did in the Club PA Library. Anatole did a pretty lengthy breakdown of the forums but the most detail he goes into is that they started "mid-1998-1999."

    Edit: Oh wait, it's in the hall of ghosts now.
