It Finally happened, How exactly does the Xbox Repair center work?

To put it short Zephyr (HDMI) red ringed after a year and a half, shipped it off to microsoft this morning. Assuming they will replace the motherboard as it seems like the issue, will they send me a replacement of my board on an upgraded current model one (Jasper I think). Wondering as the prior would delay the problem but the latter would seemingly fix it.

    You will at least get one with an HDMI port and whichever one is compatible with your PSU.

    Once they diagnose the problem, they will send you a refurbished unit they have ready to go, one that matches the model you sent in (core for core, pro for pro).
