Earth: Final Conflict Region 2's

I've been watching Earth: Final Conflict online. I'm a few episodes into Series 1 and I'm really loving it. So I looked on Amazon but the only series that seems to exist for Region 2 is Series 1.

Is there a place I can get the later series' that work on Region 2 DVD players? Or is it a lost cause?

I don't believe the later seasons ever came out on DVD in R2, like how some of the other seasons never came out in R1 either. Sorry man.

Awww man. Why is it the awesome programs withhold their DVDs from Region 2? It's uncalled for!

If its any consolation, the show goes downhill from season 1.

Yeah I had heard that. But I didn't wanna read ahead so as not to spoil it for myself. Apparently the cast changes like crazy too

If you're in the UK you can buy multiregion DVD players from practically anywhere.

I've got a Phillips DVD player from Best Buy for like $50, and it's multiregion.

you can probably read online how to make your DVD player region-free... it's usually a couple of button presses on the remote

You also use to be able to play DVDs of any region in VLC. There's currently a bug, but it may be fixed by now. So if you have a laptop or want to move your desktop over to the TV you can watch them that way. Or just watch them on the computer.

That's how I've watched both Spaced and The IT Crowd.

I've watched mis-region'd shows on computer through VLC as well, maybe I don't have the bug'd version 'cause it works fine for me.

I was on-set for part of the last season. Although I never got to know them, it was apparent that even the actors thought it was shit. Von Flores is frick'n hilarious though.

Seriously? Cause I think it is, well, Season 1 is at least, one of the best sci fi shows I've ever seen in my life. And it must be good cause it came from the dude that created Star Trek, and look how popular that is.

Well, the show was created based on Roddenberry's notes, as he passed away before the show aired.
There are a couple major cast swaps during the later seasons after season one. The main story arc with the Taelons is 'resolved' by the end of season 4, and season 5 is mostly pointless running around.

So why'd they even bother with Series 5 then? Looks to me like a case of shameless money-milking
