What the hell, I looked up videos of that dragon ball advance adventure game. It looks sick! I'll probably never be able to find a copy.
It's "cheap" on Goozex but I don't know if anyone will put it up (and there's already people requesting it): http://www.goozex.com/trading/asp/searchresult.asp

I might be able to wrangle up a copy for you, maybe even for free. I had an extra that I sent off to a friend but I'm not too sure he uses it all that much, I'll see if I can talk him into posting it your way.

If you'd like that then you can PM me your address and I'll pass it along if he agrees. Even if he doesn't then I could probably pick one up used from Gamestop for $10 and ship it if you wanted me too.

Here's an okay deal on eBay from a US seller who'll ship worldwide apparently: http://cgi.ebay.com/DRAGON-BALL-Game-Boy-Advance-Advanced-Adventure-NEW_W0QQitemZ220398611322QQihZ012QQcategoryZ139973QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Can you tell that I think more people should try this game?! :P

who cares about the language barrier, it's still the best game on the system.

There's not even a language barrier anymore.. But that's probably not to be talked about here.

I think I'll check around here to see if I can find one. But if your friend agrees to send it for free, I can't very well turn down a deal that good.

True enough, but since he was asking for recommendations for the Micro...said barrier couldn't be worked around on actual hardware.

Spyro: The Eternal Night. It's similar to Astro Boy in that it's an action platformer/brawler with combos and an RPG development system. Shorter than AB, but still a great game.

Oh yeah, Golden Sun: The Lost Ages is an excellent rpg if you're looking to sink some time. I wasn't too huge on the first one, but Lost Ages is probably better if you play it.

awesome, I bought this off Amazon new for 9.99 the other day, based on an old thread I had seen here, glad to hear it's good. Also got TMNT new for 19.99. You could probably find it cheaper somewhere, but it's getting hard to reliably find new GBA games in stores, so I just caved and bought the both of them with some free shipping.

    5) Fire Emblem - I only have sacred stones, but the earlier one is meant to be better. Works beautifully on the micro because the beautiful sprite work comes alive AND you can just switch the game off at any point and it will have automatically saved at the last turn - making it perfect for proper mobile gaming.

It's almost criminal how good Fire Emblem looks on the GB Micro. And yes, the über-portability really comes into play with FE. You're literally up and running from boot to mid-turn in like 8 seconds, and you can flick the system off anytime and lose, at most, 4 seconds of work.

Damn it you guys, and here I thought I was done buying GBA games, now I'm off to find a decent copy of Yggdra Union and Rhythm Tengoku.

edit: Fuck it. And Spyro: The Eternal Night.

edit2: Oh, and Lunker: Fuck you for introducing me to the goodness that is a GBA Micro. It's not like I don't have enough money to spend, trying to find a place to live and saving up for grad school and all. :P

One of the best things included in FFVIA was the one-load-only save+quit
