"oleo-pneumatic shock absorbers"

This subject proving a bit difficult to get information of. Don't really have time to go to a library and get some books out on it mainly because i wont have time to read through and find the relevant info. So was wondering if anyone on the forums is a budding engineer who happens to know a fair amount about oleo-pneumatic shock absorbers or some decent websites detaling them.

-thanks

What sort of information are you looking for? Like actual specs for sizing hydraulics or just general 'this is how they work' information? Because a quick google search has quite a bit of info.

Well, page 76 of this has a pretty nice diagram, but I imagine any assembly drawings and/or instructions will be manufacturer proprietary. You might try emailing one of the manufacturers to see if they'd send a student unofficial drawings.
