Okay, this is bullshit.
My brother and I were looking for a gift for him to bring to a Wedding party. We finally settled on Russian Nesting Dolls. We're Russian. It's Russian. It's traditional and unique.
So we go to Toronto and buy the thing from a Russian Antique store. Awesome. Everything is going to plan.
On the way home we realize one small issue... we don't have a box to put it in. We take a turn to the mall and begin exploring for a potential box to put it in. We stop by the Card/Gift store and they apparently don't sell boxes. Crap. We go to the Arts and Crafts store and they do have a normal box, but it's 21.99. That's dumb, so we stop by the Flea Market under the mall. Not one store or person was selling a container of any kind.
When did it become so hard to buy a plain ass, unmarked box? When it did it become a luxury item that costs 22 dollars? For god's sake, the things I buy come in boxes.

Even then, the Post Office sells marked boxes. Not plain boxes.

If there wasn't a huge box crisis, I could have placed the gift inside many boxes, each box being progressively smaller.
