Savage Hogwart's - A Savage Worlds Conversion [Beta 1.0]
I just finished writing this last night and would love to get some feedback on it. The core system is there so you can start playing, but this is a beta version, so a lot still needs to be done. For example:
Spell Trappings are not complete and offer little information on how the spell actually works
Quidditch is not in the game
Overall presentation needs work
Layout and description are not at all user friendly
Anyway, if you're interested in testing or proof-reading, please download the rulebook by right-clicking here and choosing Save As.
If you find anything you think should be added, changed, or removed please let me know here or by e-mailing me at james@artraged.com.
I think this is a pretty cool idea. I don't like Savage Worlds much as a system, but I've always wanted to see an RPG made out of the series.
From what I can see, it looks like you're off to a good start. Do you plan on statting out any of the main characters or generic enemies for players to fight?
Yeah, after I finish detailing the spells and Quidditch rules I plan on adding a bunch of adversaries and Wild Cards as well as different campaign guide lines for specific eras of play.
First off, two typos. Under Gryffindor Bonuses, it lists "House (Ranvenclaw)". First off, it should be "Gryffindor", but "Ravenclaw" is misspelled and this misspelling appears in the Ravenclaw Bonuses section.
At the moment, the only game I'll be running will be using Fantasy Grounds. You're more than welcome to join us if you have the software and will be available April 30th at around 5 PM Pacific.
