Title says it all. Been doing a bunch of freelance and contract work lately, with more to come. What is the standard (if there is one) of noting these down?

For example, recently just completed a 300 hour contract job. Which is not a full time regular job, but a good 2 month chunk of my time. Do I just note: march 2009-may 2009: freelance job doing blah blah blah at blah company? This will be more important as I have 2 more jobs lined up, and 2 out for quote right now. Do I note them all under a freelance heading?

thanks all.

Depends on the work. People who are interested in hiring you are going to want to know what you did rather than the fact that it was simply freelance.

So, if it's something like working under a company building a house, I'd list the company, the time you worked there, and what you did, just like a standard resume would look. If you really want to, you can put "freelance" or "contracted work" somewhere in the description, but again, don't sell yourself short.
