well I know I didn't buy street fighter IV because I'm dogshit at fighting games and wouldn't ever play it online because I rarely take the xbox online and if I did it wouldn't be to get my ass kicked at a fighting game
So you're going to purchase this and expect to not get your ass kicked?

After seeing some of the people that made it into MvC2, they could easily make Phoenix work.
I'd assume Dante would make it into a new iteration, but then to everyone's surprise instead of his moveset being based around his sword or his gauntlets, it's actually based around his dueling monologues scene with that bug boss in DMC4.

I never really got into these games because it just became about who could hit an air juggle hit first and then have a long ass string of buttons memorized.
Goons are freaking out because the ps3 demo is local multiplayer only and none of them can play it because they don't have any friends.
Edit: Also they're bitching because 16:9 is too long and some of the stuff is just left floating in the air strangely instead of being flush with the walls of the screen. They can play it in 4:3 which would make everything perfect but they refuse to do that because the option for 16:9 is there and they'd rather just bitch.
It's always seemed strange that the Capcom characters add almost nothing to this game, yet every time they try to make fighting games using only Marvel IP, terrible terrible failure ensues.

I assume Capcom has some sort of veto power that makes their games good.
Or else we get Marvel vs. EA, with Car Guy and Football Guy.

I'm not talking about their combat abilities, obviously they needed to give the Capcom characters powers that make them worth using. But since there's basically no plot, there's no reason that they couldn't have just used Marvel characters. Yet every time Marvel tries to do this, the results are less than stellar. Anti-stellar, in fact.

Ah. Well, I'm not sure that any of the properties really contribute anything intrinsic to their character. The moral of the story is it's usually a better idea to let Capcom make your fighting game.

Then again, Carnage is fucking stupid

I was wondering why no one included Frank West right after they got done talking about Dead Rising.
Toxin was the shit
Same here, his moveset practically writes itself
His projectile attack could be a low bowling ball when done with LP and a high soccer ball for HP
He could have an attack where he opens an umbrella and charges at you that worked like Captain America's Charging Star
And one of his hyper combos would be the lawnmower

Coran Attack!
He shouts "HOLD IT" when doing the multi-fighter combo attacks.
Rock Band DLC | GW:OttW - arrcd | WLD - Thortar
He screams "TAKE THAT" and psyche-lock chains fly around in his super move
MvC2 only allows that up to a point. Then some asshole Magneto infinite combos you out of the game.

not sure if that would really translate during the game, though
Coran Attack!
Downloading right now.
