I'm pretty sure it was called that or something similiar...

It was up here in Canada at least, when McD's starting marketing towards adults a lot more, more locations without playplaces started springing up.

Ther burger was the "adult" McDees sandwich, the bun was shaped like an arch, had sesame seeds i think, and some kind of sauce im not sure they've had on a burger since...

can anyone find pics or tell me more?

    Arch Deluxe

    Pretty much everything is there.

    edit:

After actually reading the picture, damn.

It takes a special kind of marketing to play up something like "Chopped Onion" into "Sweet, Slivered, Spanish Onions".

I thought it was a joke at first when reading "a new 'secret sauce' for grown-ups..." but after reading the whole thing, I kinda want that on a teeshirt just for the hell of it.

The workers take turns making love to the bottle, then stir it all up*.

    Not actually true.

Man, I kind of miss the Arch Deluxe. That was a really good burger.

Just out of curiosity, why are you asking about it, Deusfaux?

a friend doesnt remember any of it, and we were talking about "limited" edition burgers and such, and told him the ultimate LE burger ever was the Arch Deluxe, so I needed some infos to show him what it was about.

    Also just to reminisce

I wish they would do the hot side/cold side burger. I think it was the McDLT, but not sure. Anyone confirm that? It came in two different sides, a hot side and cold side of the package, but they stopped selling it because that was when they stopped using styrofoam for their burgers and stuff.

    Anyone help me with that?

Yeah, it was the McDLT, and I actually had a commercial for it still on VHS from when one of the Ewok movies was shown on TV. A friend ripped it a while back & uploaded it once Youtube became mainstream: Youtube link.

Edit: Can't check the embedded video on Deusfaux's link right now, so disregard if this ends up as the same one (I believe there were at least two different commericals for it). And they probably stopped due to the cool side not working out so well under heat lamps.
