Free remote access website

I was wondering, are there any completely free and worthwhile remote access web services? You know, the ones where you sign up, tell them which computer you want to access, then you can access that computer, and its files, from any other computer with internet access, just through a browser?

There is a free program called UltraVNC. You can set up its server side on the computer you want to access remotely to allow browser connections through a specific port using Java.

I've never bothered using any of those websites. Call me paranoid, but I don't like the thought of sending the passwords I type through someone else's web system. You don't really need those websites, though, it's easy to set this up on your own:
    1) Get a firewall on your PC (I use ZoneAlarm)
    2) Setup free dynamic DNC (I use dyndns.org) so you can use URLs like mypc.dyndns.org instead of an IP address that may change
    3) Install a dynamic DNS updater (dyndns.org has one for download on their site) that'll automatically keep your account updated with any IP changes
    4) Install the VNC server flavor of your choice (UltraVNC, RealVNC, TightVNC, they all work fine)
    5) If you have a router in front of your PC, configure it to forward the VNC port (5900 by default) to your system
    6) Test it out, hope it works!

I have this set up on the PCs in my Dad's home office, it makes giving him computer help a lot easier.
