Hey,

Recently i have fun into a bit of bad luck so to say and am looking for ways to kill my time. Now i alredy have liver problems at the wonderful age of 17 and now i cant rely on drinking. And i cant just smoke my time away....well i could but im cheap, so i wanna start playing dnd again, and i was wondering if anyone knows where i can go to play it online, or if any of yous are planning to do it online i can maybe join in. I prefer 3.0 but can do 3.5 in theory.

cheers

Well, there's a play by post game starting a few threads down. As far as IRC games go there's an M&M game, which might be able to take a few more people, and a d20 Future game which might be kind of full.

Edit: Your sig doesn't mean what I think it means I hope

They're lyrics to skinhead punk song, so I'd gather that it means exactly what you think it means. Not of my taste personally.

It's lyrics from Skrewdriver, a band so inane, that their fanbase consider "Boots and Braces" to be a serious youth anthem.

You take a teaspoon of fascism, a simple bar chord, a shaved head and a lot of flag waving and then add about eight pints of tepid beer and if you stir vigorously, you eventually get Screwdriver.

We use to punch fascist skinheads in the head when I was little, mostly because if we didn't they'd spend their weekends gay-bashing and urinating on subway tracks.

Oh I kid the skinheads! What's life without a few drunken racists, passing off hatred as art?

Most skinheads are fine and dandy, they're really just Rude Boys with a lower setting on their shavers. Some alas, are downright nobby little fascists and I have little patience for them.

IRC is your ticket for online D&D, but still using dice and traditional turn mechanisms. There must also be traditional "play by mail" campaigns out there.

You know what I miss? Those old BBS styled campaigns, where you'd wade into a dungeon at 2400 baud. I guess I am just a sucker for punishment, either that or I'm so nostalgic I've forgotten just how much text based gaming sucked.

I've got the nostalgia bug bad though, last week I found myself pining for Zork.
