According to twitterer Hyperfludd, these screenshots were taken from a TMNT Road Tour that's currently occuring.

Thanks go to NeoGaf user Rlan.

Megaton! :D

EDIT: Oops, it looks like this was already posted in 25 years thread. No matter, this is so important topic that it needs its own thread.

Hypnotically inclined.

Whoa! That was the one TMNT game I loved back in the day. My friend and I played it for hours on the SNES.

God I want it so badly! As long as it's faithful enough to the original. I like the new graphics, though would have settled for the old ones updated for 16:9. I will definitely get it on XBLA.

Where are you getting the PSN Wiiware info from?

The only thing I see is a screen that says (A) Select. With a very green A.

Also, you left out the 3rd Screen which looks like it has Mikey in the background doing a very new move that wasn't in the SNES version.

You know, it would be really cool if they added some more stages. I mean, they get sent through all of time, and only 3 stages are from cool historical periods.

It would be really neat if the turtles looked different in the different time periods, too.

I still think the substitution of the word "shell" and other turtle related terms for common curse words sounded much better than Battlestar Galactica's frakken stupid vocabulary.

I was watching the current turtles show last week, and was very surprised to hear "Get the shell out of here!" and "let's beat the shell outta him!". With the way that parents these days are all retarded, I figured shell would have been outlawed.

I remember someone writing to the comic's letter section complaining about this

Their response was something along the lines of "oh come on, 'hell' is barely even a swear word anymore"

I never knew that there was a console port of this game back in the day, but it was one of my favourite arcades, up there with MK 2, Simpsons, and X-Men. Can't wait to pick this up.

Wow. Really? Funny, I knew about the SNES version and beat it before I even saw an existing arcade cabinet in an arcade in Canada's CN Tower I believe. (The big building at the base had a huge arcade in it.)

    I'm curious though.

The original let you play multi-player by letting players enter whenever they wanted to.

But this one seems to have both single and multi-player modes. Does that mean I can't be playing and suddenly my friend comes in and wants to join?

Yeah, Konami turned out solid gold in the 16 bit era. Castlevania IV, Turtles in Time, Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Contra III, Sunset Riders - it's nuts. Even the Tiny Toon Adventures game was good.

As hard as I will buy this, I hope for three things:

    1) They stay faithful to the variety of moves that were available (i.e. I want AT LEAST all of the moves that were available before, but I hope they add more).

    2) Unlockable characters and/or weapons (mechaturtle? Casey Jones? Alternate costumes?).

    3) I hope they keep the speed and responsiveness of controls that were in the original. I'm REALLY hoping that they don't just shoehorn the modern TMNT gameplay into the old game. This will suck terribly if it's as sluggish as the new games.
