Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings
He's back, but in Wii form...and DS, PSP, and PS2
From IGN-
"Step into the shoes of the legendary hero, Indiana Jones, in an epic adventure! Set in the year 1939, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings follows the rogue archaeologist on an globe-trotting quest. From San Francisco's Chinatown to the lush jungles of Panama, Indy must use his whip, fists and wits to fight through ruthless opposition as he spars with his nemesis, Magnus Völler, in a race for a relic of biblical proportions -- the Staff of Moses.
Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings features completely interactive environments, where players need to call upon their wits and daring to make each spring-loaded environment a weapon in order to dispense of foes in clever and unexpected ways. Also, embark upon thrilling action sequences that remain true to the spirit of previous Indiana Jones adventures."

Looks like a lot of fun, and uses the Wiimote in a lot of ways...worth a look, I think so.
"...you are able to unlock the classic Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis game..."
Having never played FOA, I'm kinda stoked that I can give it a go.

The OP could at least put links to videos of the game in action. How else would people know what they're buying?

Oh, and I did include a link to vids of the game in action, so I guess I'm not the only one whose blind.:P
That thread is way too "graphics graphics lol" for my taste.
Why would you post a link to the bonus game and not the actual game?
Actually, Fate of Atlantis first appeared on the PC.
I know.
I own it.
The gameplay doesn't look that bad.
Punching nazis is what it's all about

(Like the flying part, holding the wiimote up like a flightstick...if the controls work well, this could be great, just not graphically is all)
Personally most of the games that have you punching feel pretty good. Flight stick sounds fun. Whipping nazis sounds fun. Shooting always works well.
The ruins segments remind me of Tomb Raider Anniversary too.

It looks like it's an entire separate game for two players, like co-op Splinter Cell missions.
Some of the footage looks really good, like dogfighting and riding the rapids. The game looked completely terrible in the first screenshots but as we go along it gets better and better. I may buy this for the actual game rather than the classic point-n-click included!
I heard it's entirely CGI.
It has always been "doot do do do" for me! Always!
:x
What era of Indy did you grow up in?
It's always been "Da na na na" since I first saw Raiders in the theater as a kid.
I suppose the earliest Indy movie I can remember watching as a kid while actively being aware of the franchise would have to be Temple of Doom.
My aunt would constantly recite the "chilled monkey brains" scene to joke around with me during meals.
Your aunt is awesome.:)
She was the "fun aunt", but sometimes she would overdo it.
Like, one time she came along with my family for a car trip to the United States. While sitting in the seat behind me, she would all of a sudden grab my neck and say, "I'm Jason!!!" (from Friday the 13th).
It was funny the first couple of times, but imagine someone doing that to you, for pretty much the entire length of a 6 hour car ride...
Yeah, that could get old.
Anyway, these videos don't look too bad. I can only assume Han Solo is an easter egg or a skin for Indy.
edit: Wait, is this that Indy game that was announced long ago that was supposed to have a new AI engine?

Surprising.
Ceterum autem censeo, Carthaginem esse delendam
This takes place a year after Last Crusade, so they're on good terms and Connery is still alive.

Like Mega Man Legends? Then check out my story, Legends of the Halcyon Era - An Adventure in the World of Mega Man Legends on TMMN and AO3!
Really, if you haven't played Fate of Atlantis this is Fate of Atlantis with bonus Staff of Kings. What I saw in the trailer of Staff of Kings for the co-op play looked fairly impressive though.
Anyways, I picked this up the other day and so far it's been great, the Wiimote related bits are well done and the feel of it is generally Indiana Jones-esque all around. Including punching Nazis in the face, which is always alright, but now with the added Wiimote, it's feels rather wonderful.
What're you talking about?
You are not talking about FoA.
Switch - SW-3699-5063-5018
Plus Nazi face-punching if you so choose.
If Lucas and Spielberg had made FoA into a movie I would have been a very, very happy man.
Edit: And if you've never played FoA before and you like adventure games, you should get Staff of Kings. I don't own a Wii but I would get SoK just so I could play FoA on my Wii.
What Josh said. It's a classic adventure game with a great story, with three different paths you can take to complete it; Teamwork, Wits, or Fists. Each one has their own quirks and solutions to puzzles, some tougher than others. It's definitely worth playing if you're interested at all in the Adventure genre.
The game can be unlocked via a code right at the beginning.
All kicking the door down, pissing like it's an Adventure.
