Iron Hands are clearly the best loyalist chapter.

Best loyalist chapter, overall, should go to the people with the kill / death ratio, duh.

Nah, they got swapped for Nurgle raptors, in a theoryhammer the Khornites had more killing ability. In a play test the nurgle raptors where hard as hell to kill by infantry on the assault. I wanted to keep them around since they provide my drop point in most cases.

T6 jump infantry performs really well on the assault, most people struggle to wound them and if supported by a squad of lesser daemons they just summoned, they are pretty gross.

Plus Nurgle raptors fit better then Khorne raptors.

Where are you getting T6? Raptors are T4, nurgle gives +1.

I am Timspork and I approve this thread title.

Also Crimson Fists rock because they used to be one of the first founding before UltraGays stole it from them. Back when I was going to make a CF army (Still might depending on how long it takes before Guard drive me insane) I was going to make them have relics from their first founding and have a lot of implied hatred towards the ultras.

    T6 jump infantry

Mark of Nurgle only give (+1)T so Raptors with a Icon of Nurgle are T4(5).

Commissars are awesome. I just got the two more recent ones to go with my two "classics" and the guy with the book is so going to be reading from the Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer.

Also just got the Primaris Psyker because 2D6 S6 shots is nuts.

I got a helpful tip for anyone assembling Valkyries.

GLUE THE ENGINES TOGETHER FIRST, THEN ATTACH THEM TO THE HULL.

I completely screwed the first one because I followed the instructions and the engine cowling with the turbine in it would not glue one correctly. The second one I assembled both of the engines first and found no problem attaching them to the hull afterward.

    Regimental Advisers
Sly Marbo (I actually like the model)

    Any suggestions on theme?

Dur yeah its T5, not 6. I wasn't looking in the book at the time and just punched a number.

    Order I just placed:

    Hell Blade (Forgeworld)
    Various bits (Warstore)
    Another Terminator box (warstore)
    2x Land Raiders (Warstore)
    Defiler (Warstore)
Dreadnought (going to have to figure out how to convert this well...) (Warstore)
2x Boxes of Crypt Ghouls (Warstore)

Yay! there goes my checking account for the moment.

I am so excited. Ooooh so excited.

I would've gotten a no-marking forgeworld dreadnaught. Or a Death Guard dreadnaught then shave off everything but the icons

Its the same thing for the harnesses on the drop pod. Assembling them in the order the instructions gives you is just a one way ticket to frustration.

Sorry, I should have been more specific and forgot to mention something

I got this one, and this left arm and this right arm.

I know twin close combat dreads aren't the best ever, but they are the best for Chaos, so I don't shoot myself.
