I also assume you need a program so you can quickly change the mappings rather than doing it once and forgetting about it? If you only need to do it once, a simple registry tweak will handle this for you.

It's a bit old, but the ways of remapping still work.
Yeah, it's a Windows Vista machine. And I'm looking for something like the functionality you get with some computers where you hit Fn + NumLock and get a bunch of keys to act as a number pad.
Not exactly free but a much better option than remapping keys via software or trying to use the out of shape Fn+Whatever keypad if you have one: get an external 10-key keypad.
