Long time reader/lurker, who never broke down and registered till'...well, now. I figured if anyone remember this, it's one of you guys.
For Wrestlemania 2000 for the N64, does anyone remember the HUGE community of hacks/mods you can do with it? Like Hell in the Cell and inferno match? None were very good at all, but they put graphics and some rule changes and most were sweet.
I remember people did things so you can go into the crowd, get tables, set em' on fire and all kinds of other stuff?
Does anyone else remember this?
[edit]
Happy now, guys?! SHEESH! Didn't mean to bring the big guns out on this one. haha
http://omgcast.net - It's funny. And offensive. And Nerdy! What more could you honestly ask for?!

I discussed this on my podcast (see my sig) and everyone I did the 'cast with thought I was a retard. But with the memory/graphic expansion, you COULD do different stuff with the N64.
Thread has potential, salvage it. See above quote.

Yeah, I mean, if you stick around and we start to take a liking to you, your pod cast will likely get a better, longer lasting viewership because it will be like checking in on a friend instead of "that guy who pimped his podcast that one time"
Well, ya. I didn't wanna just be like OMG HERE GUYS! Cause...come on, i've been a member of plenty of forums, and hate "that guy". But it does actually pertain to what I wanted to ask.
And the selfish promotion is actually for a good cause, cause my damn friends STILL think I'm an idiot.
But anyways...
...i'm not making this up, am I?! I was much younger when this came out, but I remember going to cheatplanet.com forums and finding plenty of people who used to make codes and stuff to make crazy matches and what not. And I can NOT find any evidence of this online.

Dayyyuumm. I didn't mean to bring out the entire force here. I edited guys. ha.
cheatplanet.com was awesome. It was pretty much my frist step into the forums and what not. If anyone here was a member, you remember how deep those roots went for that site.
Also, that gamefaqs had some things in there I do remember. I wish I still had WM2000 laying around now.

I remember some of the stuff for WM2000 was awesome. I'm not sure if they ever did it for No Mercy or not.

I haven't actually tried any of these myself but that FAQ describes a few of the effects you referred to in your original post.
Back when the internet was a wonderful and mysterious entity that I could only access from my moms work.
It's wierd to think about how desensitized I've become to it since then.

I don't think I have ever seen this happen before. Btw, thanks for doing an awesome job with the PA forums. :^:
