Microsoft points in small increments?

Sorry to make a whole thread about this, but i searched and couldn't find it anywhere. There was a post some time ago about buying microsoft points in smaller batches, something like 100 or so... I only need 50 and really don't want to spend $20 if I don't have to. Anyone know where that might be?

Much Thanks!

The Zune store was the way people added small amounts, if I remember correctly. You have to download the software, however.

If you have a credit card, you can also buy 500 points for $6.25 directly from the Live Marketplace, which is the smallest increment available there.

And these MS points CAN be used with Xbox correct? I'm in the same boat and have 380 points for the last year or so ...

You can do it from the zune website too without downloading the software.

I see the minimum there is still 500 points. Any way to add less then that? I only need 20 points.

I believe the minimum is 500 points in part due to credit card processing fees. It's not worth it to them to do smaller transactions.

Similarly, the PSN store has a minimum of a 5 dollar transaction.

I don't know about 20 or 100 points, but I always use the Amazon marketplace for 800 point increments: at least there you can pay an amount that won't have irritating left points. (XBLA games come at 400, 800, 1200, or 1600, while the XBLA store offers points only in multiples of 500).

I wonder how much sales they lose due to that: I know I initially didn't buy anything on XBLA for a long time simply because I didn't feel like driving to the store and defeating the purpose nor paying for an extra 100 points I didn't want.

probably less than 1% of transactions. I bet the majority of 360 users have a credit card tied to the account, and when you have that it's literally 2 button presses to instant gratification.
