I need new clothes. Desperately.
There are a couple of fashion threads floating around here and there but that's not really the kind of thing I'm looking for.
I wear dumb things. Like I've always worn clothes to blend in and not be noticed. For the last several years, all of my shirts (not most, all) have been either like a dusky blue or just black. They always have the pocket over the left...chest area. (breast?) I wear jeans or khakis usually, never shorts because I am as pale as toilet paper and I do not tan at all so please (I ask humbly) don't suggest that I 'get some sun,' because that doesn't work.
I am working out and dieting and trying to lose weight, and I have not decided yet whether I have a problem with buying clothes, losing weight, and then buying more clothes. The short answer is probably, but I don't really have a choice.
A picture would probably help, huh? Unfortunately the only picture I have up right now is one where I appear (I am informed) as though I may be planning a rape. Or perhaps to sacrifice kittens to some idol of pain. Also it's pretty close in on my face and it's at kind of a bad angle. I will link it if it is requested, but otherwise it's kind of embarrassing.
I guess I'm about 6'0, 275+, average shoulders, longish torso, average legs. Brown-haired, brown-eyed.
I'm looking for classy but durable shoes, nice pants, and maybe some comfortable, lightweightish shirts (collared or not is up to your advice - a which one is better kind of thing)
I just kind of want to know what my options *might* be. I mean, it can't be that wide of a spectrum, can it?
