I just picked up a Motorola Motostart s805 Bluetooth DJ headphones (not that I DJ or anything so... social). Basically, what I wanted were some headphones that would let me work on things not next to my desktop without stopping the music, but I also wanted a microphone built in so that I could talk in TF2 or vent or steam voice chat or ... well, the microphone is a useful device, eh?
Between yesterday and today, the testing period is not going well. If Pandora is playing in firefox, I can't move more than a few feet; TF2 has the sound cut out sporadically - and, while it's hard to tell exactly, I don't think the microphone works when the sound is, and vice versa.
My guess is the adapter (Targus Micro Bluetooth Adapter) is too limited to handle the bandwidth requirements for both listening and talking; alternatively, the headphones are designed with the express purpose of pairing with both a cellphone and Audio Device, with the ability to answer calls easily, so it may be the opposite, that the headphones can't support one adapter that sends both signals.
All that said, I'll be the first to admit I have nearly no knowledge about this, so it's possible I'm missing something stupid.
Thus, I come to you. Does anyone have experience with these? Care to enlighten me?
