APARTMENT:
I'm moving into a different building on Monday. I have basic cleaning supplies, have to fix a dry wall hole. I've been using the clorox wipes they seem to be streaky.

So I'm asking for good advice/tips/tricks for cleaning thoroughly.

COMPUTER:
The HD on my laptop is only like 25 gigs or some ridiculous amount and it's at 22 full so far. How do I get rid of this crap? All of my personal effects are on my external and I cant figure out where all of this crap is.

Thanks

Go ahead and grab Spacemonger from here. This is a great tool that showes a breakdown of where your space on your hard drive goes and what files are taking up that space. This saved me a TON of space on my dekstop PC.

For cleaning the computer, Crap Cleaner is what I use. It'll clear out a ton of temp files and stuff like that. You can tell it specifically what you want cleaned, as I don't like it clearing out all of my browser cookies.

The last time I ran it, it cleared out like 2 gigs of crap.

As for the house cleaning, it seems like any of the prepacked wipes of any kind always suck. For glass, just get some windex and paper towels. Actually I use windex on most surfaces, except the tub/shower, toilet, and countertops.

How big is the hole in the drywall? If it's relatively small, you can buy some putty or plaster from the hardware store. Just smooth it over the hole with a putty knife (be sure to follow the directions on the package), let it dry, then sand it smooth and paint. Voila.

To clean the walls, get a bucket of soapy water and a rag. There's really no substitute.
