Need to find clothes that mean X-Large when they say it
I'm not a skinny guy by any means, but I'm not quite overtly obese. Just very stocky with a large mid-section.
In the last two days I have bought four shirts from a local store. The first two turned out to be those stretchy type shirts that you can only really wear if you're built like Daniel Craig. I have returned them and bought two more. These ones aren't explicitly stated as close-fitting but they're not extra large by any means. I would be hard-pressed to call them large in fact.
This is all from a local retailer known as Mark's Work Wearhouse. Historically they've had clothes that fit the way I like for a reasonable price, but it seems that has changed; unless I want to buy more bland monocolor shirts with nothing interesting on them.
Other retailers in my area are not options because they either fail to stock clothes that fit anybody that isn't a skinny teenager, are too expensive, or a combination thereof.
So I feel that what I'm left with is the internet. Are there any decent places online I can buy clothes that will fit me, are somewhat affordable and aren't bland?
Do not feel trapped by the need to achieve anything, this way you achieve everything.

Slim fit t-shirts are this season's fashion. What this means for anyone with any sort of girth is that you're going to have to go up an additional size.

Close fitting means just that, it's going to be against your skin, there's not going to be any movement of the fabric.
T-shirts specifically.
